It has flown by. We love our baby girl Melanie. She has so many amazing gifts. She is a cheerleader for everyone. She wants the best for everyone. She truly cares about others. She is always looking for someone who needs a friend. She wants so badly to always do what is right. I am amazed that she has survived being the litle sister to her three big brothers and their constant and relentless teasing. I am also amazed at how much she still loves them. She works so hard at trying to keep her crazy mom happy. We are grateful she is part of our family.

I have always noticed how sweet Melanie is - she is the cutest to my grandparents (Carroll and Bob). I know she makes their day when she hugs them and treats them as if they are her grandparents.
Melanie is one of our best writers. We love to get her e-mails. They are short but that doesn't matter, we know she still thinks of us. Can't believe she is 11.
